The North Fork of the Shenandoah River in the Mount Jackson and Edinburg area is still discolored but the water level is close to normal. The picture above is from the Burnshire Bridge north of Woodstock. As you can see the muddy water is working its way toward Strasburg. I expect the North Fork (if we do not get any more heavy rains) will be fishable in the Mount Jackson/Edinburg area by Monday Sept 6. The South Fork of the Shenandoah River is still to high and muddy for fishing. We will post updates as the conditions change.
