Stocked Trout Streams Fly Fishing Report - November 10, 2021

When I find large numbers of cress bugs in streams over 30 feet wide, I locate the springs then wade down the stream below the springs. I cast a Shenk's Cress Bug or Shenandoah Sowbug across stream and swim it slowly in water below the springs. Often the trout will be holding and feeding in the water for 40-50 feet downstream from the springs. The Murray's Marauder Streamer in size 10 or 12 is a great streamer for the stocked trout streams.
All of the local stocked trout streams are clear and fishable.
