The Adams Dry Fly is a standard pattern which is a great match for several natural mayflies. Fish the size 14 on a 5X leader on freestone streams at dusk. This gray body dry is very effective in all types of trout waters. It is productive during many different hatches such as mayflies, caddisflies, stoneflies and even midges. I like to tie these with Metz Grade 1 Rooster Capes in brown and grizzly.
