Elk body hair makes excellent wings for caddis, humpy bodies and spinning some hair bodies. This makes very durable high floating dry flies such as the Mr. Rapidan Dry Delta Wing Caddis which we tie in different colors and our Yellow Jacket Dry Fly which we tie with yellow elk body hair.
