The High N Dry Gel Floatant was designed with special and unique materials, and is specifically for those fly fishers that prefer to dress their flies with their fingers or those who prefer to dress certain areas of their flies. The Gel Floatant allows the dressed areas of the fly to be completely covered with a barrier that keeps moisture out. It works well on all flies, including those tied with Cul de Canard (CDC) materials. (We recommend a Liquid Floatant for CDC and the small, more delicate patterns) It is not flammable, it contains no organic solvents, is 100% solids and is environmentally friendly.
High N Dry Floatants contain no VOC's (volatile organic compounds), no petroleum or harsh solvents which most Floatants on the market are made from. If you are looking for an environmentally friendly Floatant, look no further.
The floatant is delivered in a Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) bottle. This packaging allows for the maximum control of the desired amount of floatant to be applied. The cap is attached to the container to allow the fly fisher minimum distraction when applying floatants.
