When the streams are full this is the ideal little yellow stonefly to fish in the choppy currents. It is a great floater with high angler visibility. I wanted a dry fly that was plenty buoyant, but sat low in the water like the naturals and was still visible for clients. I also wanted it durable enough to withstand more than a few fish to which this fly has proven time and time again.
